The issue:
In 2010, myself and other members of the Senate Special Committee on Anti-Terrorism studied Bill S-7 – An Act to deter terrorism and to amend the State Immunity Act.
With the rise of global terrorism in the 21st century, Bill S-7 is the Government’s proposal to establish a framework through which to hold those entities responsible for acts of terrorism that affect Canada accountable for their actions and subsequently deter similar acts from occurring in the future.
