1. Issue:

Having arrived to Canada as a refugee, I know first hand of the challenges and hurdles the immigration system can be to a refugee claimant. Having acted as a legal advocate representing the claims of refugee clients, I know first hand of how unfair the system can be to the most vulnerable groups of refugees.

Bill C-11 is the government’s proposal to ensure a well balanced refugee system that would as well quicken the refugee process for refugees in serious need of protection.
